It set me to thinking about why students with ADHD often perform below their intellectual level at school and thereafter in the workplace?
I was originally inspired to write this post after reading an article by Annie Murphy Paul with the title, "Has kindergarten become too academic?"

A Brief Introduction
Dave and Pat Pughe-Parry have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and we were both in our late 40s when diagnosed.
For the past 20 years Dave, an ADHD Coach, has devoted his life to helping those with, or living and working alongside ADHD, to understand this complex condition and manage it in the most effective way using a multi-disciplinary treatment process.
There is no magic cure.
We have traveled South Africa training more than 7 000 educators and medical professionals and coached more than 1 000 adults and families.

The vast majority of children in the world will go through some form of schooling, whether it be a traditional school - or some adaptation of the western world, a home school, or a third-world group of children under the proverbial tree near the village.
