Just as ADHD Coaching is significantly different from Life and Executive Coaching, not all ADHD Coaching is the same.
ADHD Coaching is where we work with individuals - alone or in small groups - to enable them to manage their ADHD Impairments effectively and sustainably, to be able to lead contented and productive lives.

This is the foundation set of coaching modules. We always start in this group unless there is a compelling reason why we need to do something else first. All of the remaining modules build on this important series.
Introduction - Committing to the coaching plan and processes
Thinking - Liberated thinking techniques
Decisions - The Deciding Doctrine
Goals - Assured Awesome Aims
Forgiveness - A Selfish Gift for your soul
Brain Activation - Where is the Start Line?
Expectations - Understanding the Expectations you Create
Boundaries - The Line in the sand
Inspirational Attitude - Happiness Is The Right Set of Attitudes
Time - The measurement of our lives
Failing - The Success Lecturer
Self Talk - The tail that wags the dog
Essential Meds - The Behaviour Enabler

Because we mostly work with adults ranging in age from early twenties to early sixties, most ADDers face the daunting task of making changes that have become deeply embedded in the fabric of their lives, not an easy or small exercise.
This is actually quite doable - each one of my clients knows their lives better than anyone else, and often they know what they want to change in terms of who they want to be, but not how to do it. Some clients are satisfied with the Essential set of modules provides, but many others only feel ‟half-full.”
This led me to develop modules that provide additional skills to enable my clients to feel more contented with the way they are living their lives most days. These modules I have divided into two groups. So after this list of Important Modules, there is a group I have called The Valuable Modules, as they provide - for most people - the last part of a consummate knowledge of how to lead a contented and productive life.
THE IMPORTANT GROUP
Planning - You need to know where you are going
Survival - Deal with life's challenges
Thriving - Beat life most of the time
Flourishing - You do to life!
Sexuality - Appropriate sensuality with passion
The S´s - No more rules
Co-dependency - Dealing with people dependent on your ADHD
Social Skills - Gracious Socialising
Managing the Environment - Removing Distractions
Communication - Understand and being understood

This set - Group 3 in the hierarchy - of modules provides more finishing or rounding off for coaching clients. Looking at some of the names, such as Structure or Pride, you would be forgiven for thinking they should be in the Essential or Important groups.
They are there, but in a much broader style. Many themes or topics are in multiple modules in different guises, and in some cases the topics have their own modules.
These modules have narrow focus and are used when the need is specific to a client, such as the module on Business Roles or Pitching an idea or a project to potential investors.
The Grieving module is seldom used, simply because very few clients suffer a catastrophic loss while doing the coaching. If it comes out in the Impairments Assessment, it will be included in the client coaching modules.
Grieving - Breaking the cycle of grief and depression
Pride - Low self esteem is easy meat for pride
Structure - The foundation of every kind of progress
Technology - The seductive world of technology
Business Roles - You can't be everything
Pitching - Every thing needs to be sold

You have just received a diagnosis of ADHD (Attention, Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder). You officially have a "disorder". For most folk this comes as a shock. 😨
You (or your spouse) possibly suspected that you had the condition, and scoured the internet for someone who could diagnose you one way or the other.
Or perhaps, like I did, you lived for many years in blissful ignorance.
But … the ignorance hasn’t been bliss, has it?
Living a roller coaster life inevitably leads to anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. Personal and work relationship problems have resulted in divorce, getting fired or quickly changing jobs to avoid the humiliation of being fired.
